How to set Heat press temperature and pressure ?
1. Temperature: If the temperature is too low to heat transfer printed effect and make good fastness, even make blooming printed effect. If the temperature is too high, the printed effect will be faded, shown in dark color, and even blistering badly. Several key elements should be paid attention to to set the best temperature when printing: pressure, speed, area, indoor temperature. The printing temperature is around 180℃—280℃, once the best temperature is confirmed, difference between ±2℃is acceptable.
2. Pressure: pressure is around 4—6 kg/cm2. If the pressure is too small, which will lower the fastness between transfer paper and transferred materials. But if the pressure is too large, the transferred materials will be deformed. When heat transfer on complex and uneven materials, each side pressure should be the same, otherwise, the whole fastness of transferred materials is different.
3. Speed: Heat press setting speed is based on the printing area, and power of heating temperature. Normally firstly to setting speed, secondly setting pressure and finally setting temperature.
